Katherine Amar-Fox Attends Women in Engineering Program at Michigan Tech

Katherine Amar-Fox of Johannesburg participated in the recent Women in Engineering (WIE) Program on the campus of Michigan Technological University. She joined more than 150 students from thirteen states.

WIE is a highly competitive scholarship program and weeklong exploration of careers in engineering fields, including mechanical, computer, environmental, electrical, chemical, biomedical, civil, geological and materials.

The students also get a taste of college life by spending the week living in Michigan Tech's residence halls, eating in the dining halls, exploring campus, and meeting diverse peers.
