Rhonda Heusinkveld Inducted into Beta Sigma Gamma

2013 Apr 18

Michigan Technological University's School of Business and Economics recently inducted fourteen students into Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society.

Among the honorees was Rhonda Heusinkveld from Ahmeek, majoring in Accounting.

According to Beta Gamma Sigma, induction "provides the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program at a school accredited by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)."

"I wish to congratulate our most recent inductees into Beta Gamma Sigma as a recognition for all their hard work and academic achievements," said R. Eugene Klippel, dean of the School of Business and Economics. "This is certainly an honor worthy of formal recognition and represents the highest academic honor our School can bestow upon these students."

The School of Business and Economics' accreditation by AACSB places it in the top one-third of business schools in the world.
